The upcoming OS is a major game changer for the software maker and consumers alike, with a touch first experience, hot corners, charms, and live tiles. These videos you see below are part of a new training guidelines for next Microsoft’s OS. Essentially the software giant will be using videos like these to coach those who sell products from the company. And even though these videos are to teach Microsoft product associates, if you are new to Win 8, take advantage, watch them and learn how to navigate the upcoming OS. In the first video (Make it Your Own) aims to demo and personalize the Start screen, which the company defines as “digital bulletin board” by pinning, grouping and resizing tiles.
In the second video (Easy sharing demo) focus on teaching users how to share content from any Windows 8 app like Facebook, Flickr and SkyDrive using the Charms.
And finally in the third video (Using Windows 8) shows how to navigate the new Windows 8 user interface Start screen and tiles.
To make the launch a success the software giant is trying to make the transition to Windows 8 as easy as possible, but as many users already claimed that the new UI can be a bit tricky and it has a learning curve for new customers, the company faces the challenge of educating its users to a new concept, which hasn’t change for more than 15 years. In addition to the new video training, Microsoft has been hard at work making Windows 8 the best it can be for the October 26th launch by releasing a serie of updates for its line of Windows Store apps including Weather, Messaging, Travel, Video and Music. And they are also pushing a massive update to tune the operating system ahead of the first Service Pack that brings many enhancements on performance, power management, battery efficiency and more.
