In April’s Patch Tuesday, which users will be able to download starting 1PM E.T., Microsoft plans to release 9 updates, 7 of them are marked as important, while the remaining 2 are marked as critical, patching at total of 14 vulnerabilities. One of the scheduled critical update (MS13-028) is target to address two issues in IE6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and RT, which could allow remote code execution if a user lands on a specially crafted web page. The remaining critical update (MS13-029) addresses a vulnerability in the Remote Desktop Client that could also allow remote code execution via a specially crafted web page. The other group of 7 updates focus on Antimalware client, Office, Windows client, and Windows Server. Also today the software giant is making available another firmware update for its tablets, Surface Pro, and Surface RT. Resolves system crashes caused by certain Wi-Fi issues. Certain “Limited” connectivity issues resolved Improves Wi-Fi to handle a wide range of access points.
