However today Microsoft is only making available the Surface Pro 3 with Intel’s Core i5 processor. The Intel’s Core i3 and i7 versions will become available for purchase on August 1. Also the new Docking Station didn’t go on sale, Microsoft will make it available for purchase on August 15. If that isn’t enough, you can visit the Microsoft retail store to test drive the device. For customers outside of U.S. and Canada, Microsoft plans to make all versions of Surface Pro 3 and selected accessories available by the end of August in 26 markets including: Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Kingdom. Also remember that even though it’s possible walk-in purchases, chances of finding a tablet in your local or online store is very low as most retailers are more than likely to only have pre-orders stocks. As we uncovered in my previous review, Surface Pro 3 is an impressive device, it features better hardware than the MacBook Air, it has an stunning 12-inch retina display, a totally redesigned kickstand that allows users to position the device anywhere from 0 to 150 degrees. The Surface Pen is just great, and the new Type Cover is much better. Even though knowing how awesome this device is, no everyone knows how one device can be a tablet and a full powered PC when needed. To clear the air, Microsoft released a video, where Panos Panay, corporate vice president in charge Surface, explains how Surface Pro 3 beats the competition.
