The two images revealed by the site shows the new File Explorer icon with flat design and check box template for applications having higher resolution support up to 240 DPI.
If you’re using a Surface Pro 3, premium Ultrabook, or an external monitor with high DPI capability, you know that Windows does a poorly job scaling. Even sometimes we have to find ways around to make applications look better in the desktop. Windows 8.1 has been improved for newer displays with high-resolution, but there still a lot of work need to be done. Dell as an example, recently showed off a 5K monitor, not aimed for traditional consumers, but for businesses. However we can see that higher than 4K resolution panels are coming and Microsoft knows, so it’s great to see that Windows 9 will improve scaling and higher resolution displays up to 8K (7680 x 4320).
