While the company has previously shown off game streaming before, the company recently started to enable the feature for Xbox Preview members. It’s a new feature that will let users stream the games from an Xbox One to any device running Windows 10 through the Xbox app. Perhaps one of the biggest feature requests from the community was the ability to play Xbox 360 games on Xbox One. Microsoft heard this request loud and clear, and the company recently announced backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games. Now, the feature is getting close to be ready, and the Xbox One July update will help to make that possible. However, the list of compatible games will be limited at first, but Microsoft promised that it’ll add more games to the list. The company is even asking feedback from the community to help get more games to the compatibility list. Currently, both of these features are part of the Xbox Preview program, but now the company is getting ready to roll out the features soon to everyone. While backward compatibility will take a few months to release, game streaming will be available on July 29th.
